Asian Crab Fritters
Ingredients:
2 cups sliced bamboo shoots
1 cup chopped onion
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon ginger
8 eggs, lightly beaten
1 pound crab meat
butter for frying
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, adding the crab meat last. In a frying pan, heat 1/2 cup butter. Drop the fritter mixture by large spoonfuls into the hot butter. Fry to a golden brown, turning once. This makes 8 to 12 servings.
