Maryland traditional crab soup
Maryland is known for crabs and the
Crab Soup is the best in this world.
Recipe Ingredients:
6 beef bullion cubes
8 ounces of crab claw meat
8 ounces lump crab meat
2 large cans tomato paste
4 medium onions, chopped
1 bunch celery, chopped
1 bag frozen soup vegetables
1 stick of butter
2 tablespoons old bay seasoning
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons white pepper
Directions:
Fill large pot 1/3 full of water and bring to a boil. Add beef cubes,
onions and celery. Let boil for 1/2 hour. Add old bay, salt, pepper and
tomato paste. Bring to boil and add sugar and vegetables. Cook for 3/4
hour then add butter and crab meat. simmer for 1/2 hour and serve.
